In this class, you will learn a variety of drawing and blending techniques using vine and compressed charcoal with Instructor Maria Rosas. Come learn and practice working with value, proportion, and composition. You will learn how to draw in proportion using the grid method and using value to draw in a realistic style.
Take two on the snowy trees scene, we’ve reached the warm cottage. We’ll learn to keep our highlights protected and how to do blends that appear to be emitting light. Highly recommended to bring Posca white pen.

Give the extra special touch of something handmade for a certain someone. Could be a Gal-entines or Valentines teddy bear for your person! Instructor will guide you through the drawing step by step, and provide envelopes to complete your cute personalized artwork.

Spring is in the air! We'll draw butterflies and dragonflies and possibly a fairy in our garden. Instructor will provide a few options on how to draw wings in various state of flight. Great class for a beginner, we will explore usage of shading, negative space, and highlights.

For the serious animal lover, and appreciator of our hooved friends. We will explore the anatomy of a horse, and if you wish to be intermediate, the option for a horse in motion. Come draw this majestic creature with us.

Most classes are limited to 8-12 people depending on the class.
We have sanitizing stations at the front of the store.
Our restrooms are not open to the public, but open for students.
Allard's Art Class Policy:
First come, first served!
You must register & prepay for the class in advance, as seating is limited.
You may sign-up in store, online, or by calling 559-225-1500.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your class for signing in and setting up.
When classes start at 10am on Saturdays, we will open for you at 9:50am.

Class Cancellation Policy:
Allard’s Art reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, participants will be notified via their provided phone number and/or email with as much notice as possible and a full refund will be given.
If a make-up class or future date is offered, you will be given the option to register for the future date in lieu of a refund.
Cancellations or class transfers by the participant must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the class for a full refund or transfer.
No refunds will be given for “no call, no-shows” or a late cancellation. Once the class is in session, we will not offer a refund or transfer.
