Landscapes in Bloom: Organic Blending with Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolours

This project uses Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolors to create a landscape using a watercolor bloom technique, and is suitable for both beginner and advanced painters. Watercolor blooms are a captivating method of offering artists a dynamic and spontaneous way to create unique textures and patterns.

This method involves applying wet paint to moist paper, allowing colors to blend organically. Mastering watercolor blooms enhances creativity, enabling artists to achieve expressive and visually stunning effects in their paintings. This project will also introduce Masking Fluid, which is a valuable tool in watercolour painting, as it allows artists to selectively preserve areas on paper, preventing them from absorbing paint and creating controlled highlights.

Attendees will receive free Winsor & Newton Watercolor samples.
