Learn to paint with style and confidence! Each class is two sessions: The first will begin with a basic introduction to acrylic paint, which is colorful, easy to use, dries fast and cleans up with water. We will paint in a paper pad made for acrylics, while we practice color mixing, brush techniques and layering paint. A reference photo will be provided, and we will learn how to transfer the image onto a canvas. Then, we will paint the first layer in brown and white. 

The second session will be devoted to painting the canvas from the first layer of color through several more coats until we are ready to apply the final details. We will learn more about mixing colors, using brush techniques and glazing paint. By the end of the second session, depending on our progress, we will have a finished gem of a painting, or a nearly complete one that you can touch up at home.

Our new Policy & Procedures for our Art Classes:

Most classes are limited to 8-12 people depending on the class.

We have sanitizing stations at the front of the store.

Our restrooms are not open to the public, but open for students.

Allard's Art Class Policy:

First come, first served!

You must register & prepay for the class in advance, as seating is limited.

You may sign-up in store, online, or by calling 559-225-1500.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your class for signing in and setting up.

Classes starting at 10am on Saturdays, we will open for you at 9:50am.

Pricing, Dates, and Times subject to change.

Class Cancellation Policy:

Allard’s Art reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.

If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, participants will be notified via their provided phone number and/or email with as much notice as possible and a full refund will be given.
If a make-up class or future date is offered, you will be given the option to register for the future date in lieu of a refund.
Cancellations or class transfers by the participant must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the class for a full refund or transfer.
No refunds will be given for “no call, no-shows” or a late cancellation. Once the class is in session, we will not offer a refund or transfer.
