Watercolor Art Lessons Class

 

 

 

Acrylic Painting: Fall Harvest

with Janelle Penner, Credentialed Art Teacher (In-Person Classes)

 

Art I is an introductory course designed for:

• Students grades 9-12 (Fulfills California University A-G requirement Category F)

• You will be required to take Semester A and B (Check with school for credit)

• Students grade 7-8 are welcome for enrichment only.

 

This course provides students:

• The foundations of art, media uses, and the means to express their ideas in 2-Dimensional Artworks

•Skills and knowledge building in Elements of Art, Principles of Art, Variety of Art Media, Technique Development, Concept Development, Creative Expression

 

At the end of the semester students will present their best three works of art in an art show

Art 1 Semester A - $699 Supply Bundle Included

Tuesdays, September 10th through December 19th

1pm-3:30pm

*$629 Early Bird Special Available until - 8/10/24

Semester A projects are mostly black and white to help form the foundations of understanding and identifying the basic elements and principles of art by using a variety of media such as pencil and pen & ink. This includes 13 classes plus an Art Show at end of the semester. Class syllabus will be available on the first day of class or upon request.

Tuesdays, February 11th through May 13th

Semester B projects use a variety of colors and media as the artist begins to build their skills and knowledge in the elements and principles of Art and the media used to exercise an art expression. Students will learn how to describe, analyze, interpret, and judge their own works of art. This includes 13 classes plus an Art Show at end of the semester. Class syllabus will be available on the first day of class or upon request.

We want everyone safe and healthy.

Our new Policy & Procedures for our Art Classes:

Most classes are limited to 8-12 people depending on the class.

We have sanitizing stations at the front of the store.

Our restrooms are not open to the public, but open for students.

 

Allard's Art Class Policy:

First come, first served!

You must register & prepay for the class in advance, as seating is limited.

You may sign-up in store, online, or by calling 559-225-1500.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your class for signing in and setting up.

When classes start at 10am on Saturdays, we will open for you at 9:50am.

Pricing, Dates, and Times subject to change.

 

Class Cancellation Policy:

Allard’s Art reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.

If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, participants will be notified via their provided phone number and/or email with as much notice as possible and a full refund will be given.
If a make-up class or future date is offered, you will be given the option to register for the future date in lieu of a refund.
Cancellations or class transfers by the participant must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the class for a full refund or transfer.
No refunds will be given for “no call, no-shows” or a late cancellation. Once the class is in session, we will not offer a refund or transfer.
