$49 all supplies included

Batik is a bright and beautiful craft that originated in eastern countries and has been becoming increasingly popular in the West. In this class you will learn how to create your very own batik designs on decorative paper and fabric using soy wax, a very environmentally friendly product used to create resist. We will use a variety of inks and paints to create six beautiful sheets of paper that you can use in collage or as a stand-alone piece of art. You’ll try the process on a piece of cotton fabric. Come learn something new and exciting!
