College Professor LK Papadakis is teaching a multi-week painting course at Allard's! These sessions are designed as series of lessons where you learn to paint at your own pace. Class meets every week alternating Thursday and Saturdays. You can pick if you'd like to learn oil, acrylic painting. Each week, you will continue to work on the same project and grow your skills. You will explore a variety of painting techniques and processes used in a realistic style. LK will help you understand color theory, composition and develop blending techniques.
You can start class at any time in the series and you don't have to come to every session. If only some of the dates work come to those classes and continue to learn right where you left off.
If you have painting before we recomment bringing the supplies you have. If you are brand new we recomment not buying supplies before class and LK will work with you to select the right colors and brush to fit the painting style and subject you'd like to start with.
BRING Multiple images, LK will help you pick a good image to start painting. Keep in mind when starting out some subjects work much better then others.
Class sizes are limited to 6-10 people depending on the class.
