Janelle Penner, is a credentialed art teacher who loves showing her students that anyone can become an artist when they take time and learn the step by step process she demonstrates.





Forms & Values - $49 plus supplies

Start here to learn how to create the illusion of form in your artwork. Come learn the foundations for creating the art illusion of form which is 3 dimensional objects on a 2 dimensional surface. This class will teach you shading, how to create light and dark values in your drawing by using value scales, core shadows and cast shadows and how to make your objects pop off the page.


Recommended class combinations: Still Life, Facial Features, Photorealism, Perspective Basics and Perspective: Advanced.

We want everyone safe and healthy.

Our new Policy & Procedures for our Art Classes:

Class sizes are limited to 6 people.

All students have their own work table and all their own supplies.

We require proper masking, 6-foot social distancing.

We have sanitizing stations at the front door and it the class room.

Our restrooms are not open to the public, but open for students.



Allard's Art Class Policy:

First come, first served!

You must register & prepay for the class in advance, as seating is limited.

You may sign-up in store, online, or by calling 559-225-1500

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your class for signing in and setting up.

Class Cancellation Policy:

Allard’s Art reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.

If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, par]ticipants will be notified via their provided phone number and/or email with as much notice as possible and a full refund will be given.
If a make-up class or future date is offered, you will be given the option to register for the future date in lieu of a refund.
Cancellations or class transfers by the participant must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the class for a full refund or transfer.
No refunds will be given for “no call, no-shows” or a late cancellation. Once the class is in session, we will not offer a refund or transfer.
